Typical Industry Standard

The industry standard is a one-manufacturer “equipment bundle” chosen for builder convenience, and rebate $$$ rather than a best-fit mix tailored to your pool.
Low “package” prices often leave out essential line items—like excavation, permits, and electrical—so the real total shows up later as added costs.
Many pool companies rely on “discount-first” marketing—huge markdowns, limited-time promos, and same-day “sign today” incentives meant to create urgency instead of helping you make an informed decision.
Permits are put in the homeowner’s name, meaning you, as the customer, are legally responsible for construction defects and accidents.
A two-year workmanship warranty (required by law). If something goes wrong, you have to deal directly with the manufacturers or subs

We put permits under our name to ensure compliance and accept full responsibility for the work. The pool is still yours; we’re simply the accountable builder.
Shasta backs every installation with a five-year base labor warranty (with renewal options), supported by an in-house warranty team that keeps us accountable for the long term.
$6,000 initial deposit. We collect only what’s necessary to start. First payment isn’t due until the pool is fully excavated.
