Resort Style Pool Designs For A Lifetime Staycation in Your Backyard

Here in Arizona, we enjoy enviable temperatures all year round. Rather than take off on a vacation, many residents are choosing to have a staycation rather than venture abroad. Not only is this easier on the wallet, but it allows people to gain a greater appreciation for their home and their surroundings. Homeowners can optimize their staycation experience by designing a resort style pool and having it built right in their own backyard. Below are gorgeous resort style pools we have been fortunate enough to build with the assistance of our customers:

The Ultimate Desert Oasis

Featuring a loose and easy free form design and nestled within a rocky landscape, this pool is one of our favorites to this date. We love how the spa is attached to the pool so that conversations can happen freely between spa bathers and pool goers, but it is also raised, allowing for just a bit more privacy while making it more visually engaging. The multi-tiered rock waterfall is the piece de resistance in this pool.

Chic and Geometric

We had a great time designing and building this geometric pool. With scuppers, a baja deck and a raised attached spa, this pool has a little bit of something for everyone. The pool features a covered area where foods can be cooked and drinks can be served, and there are even sunken seats so that bathers never need to leave the pool!

Contemporary Design with Clean Lines

The traditional lap pool design has make a big comeback over recent years. We had the pleasure of building one in an Arizona backyard recently which included a sun shelf, in-pool fountain, and numerous scuppers at varying levels. Best of all, the pool is situated right along a raised shaded area so people can lounge in the shade and easily slip into the pool.
