Pentair Intellichlor IC40 Salt Chlorination System
The trend of today is to swap out the traditional chlorination systems for salt water systems, and Pentair has matched this growing demand with their Intellichlor IC40 Salt Chlorination System. This chlorination system works similarly to other systems in that it continually produces the amount of chlorine that your pool needs in order to stay sanitary, but it comes with some additional benefits as well. The unit comes with an automatic shut-off feature (which prolongs the unit’s cell life), has on-time cycling (which prevents scale and calcium build up and maximizes cell life) and is able to communicate with SunTouch, EasyTouch and IntelliTouch automation systems. One item of note: this system can only clean pools up to 40,000 gallons.
