Arizona Pool Features: Options For Changing The Color Of Your Pool

One of the easiest ways for pool lovers to give their pool a makeover is to change the color of their pool. There are a wide variety of ways for pool owners to accomplish a complete overhaul of their pool’s color and appearance, starting with:

Pool Color

If you’re currently in the process of building or remodeling your pool, then you may want to consider changing the color of your pool’s finish.  Most pool fishes come in a variety of durable and stain resistant colors, such as:

  • A wide selection of blue shades
  • Tan shades
  • Black
  • Gray shades

Some custom pool builders, contractors, and manufacturers may have more exotic colors to offer you, but those colors will be few and far between.  Choosing a more specialized color is great, except when it comes to repairs.  This is particularly true for anyone who has a fiberglass pool.  It’s impossible for any contractor to make an exact match of your pool’s pattern and coloring when performing a repair – though the best contractors can get so close that most can’t tell from even a short distance away.  But it is important for pool owners to realize that this is a problem that comes with having a colored pool.

LED Lights

Have a pool with a color you aren’t all too fond of?  Rather than give your pool a huge overhaul this winter, why not simply install some new LED lights to give you the color that you want?  From dark blues to turquoises to greens and violets and beyond, you can make your pool waters whatever color you want them to be with these gorgeous and energy efficient colored LED bulbs.  Though they will cost a few hundred dollars to install, they are one of the least expensive ways to give your pool a facelift.
