4 Games For Around The Fire Pit From Shasta Pools

Though the months may be growing colder, having a fire pit in the backyard is a great excuse to still enjoy the great outdoors from your backyard while staying warm and toasty.  If you’re looking to bring some life to your fire pit, below are some games that are sure to please:

Truth Or Dare

What makes this game so appealing is that it can be tailored to suit everyone of all ages.  Whether you challenge someone to an exciting dare or ask them to reveal a secret that no one knows, this game is always a great crowd pleaser (as long as they dares are always safe and that the truths being asked are all in good fun!).

Telephone

Children and adults alike love a good round of telephone.  This game works best if you have 5 or more players. The first person will say a word or a phrase, and the second individual who they whisper that word or phrase to then has to remember it and repeat it back to the third person in line.  The third person then must remember that word or phrase and relay it to the fourth individual, and so on.  Though the game may sound fairly simple, you’ll be surprised by just how easily messages get twisted and screwed up by the time they reach the 5th or 6th person in line.

Name That Tune

For this game, you can either choose the ultra challenging route by having someone hum or even attempt to sing a tune, or you can turn on the outdoor sound system and play different segments of songs for your friends to then guess what the name of the song is.

Chubby Bunny

If you already have the ingredients out to whip up some delicious S’mores or roast marshmallows by the fire pit, then you may as well try your hand at Chubby Bunny.  In this game, individuals will place jumbo-sized marshmallows into their mouths and then make their best attempt at saying “Chubby Bunny”.  Individuals will continue to add marshmallows to their mouth until they are no longer able to say it.  The person who lasts the longest wins!
